Pick and Choose your Battles Warrior - Day Nine of 30 Warrior Women in 30 Days

Pick and choose your battles, Warrior. The world is filled with injustices and situations. Not every battle is for you. Gravitate toward people and places that speak to your heart, and give your focused attention to them with an open and understanding spirit. Lift one another up.  Don't let yourself be distracted by things that don't matter at the end of the day, or by the things that run contrary to your soul.  Stay strong, Warrior. Stay strong, focused, and filled with love, for you will be able to move mountains. Remember that not everything is black and white, it is up to you to see the shades of grey for that is where your help is needed.  "Pick and Choose your Battles" is Day Nine in my "30 Warrior Women in 30 Days" series. Warrior Woman don't lose Hope - Day Eight of 30 Warrior Women in 30 Days

Dear Warrior Woman, don't lose Hope . Your efforts make a difference. You may not see the progress yet, but know that change is happening and you are still needed. You are meant for this because you have a sincere heart and a beautiful mind.  In those moments when you feel like you can't go any further and you can't give any longer, take some time to be the Butterfly. Go inward, as a cocoon, breathe deeply and think lightly. The difficulties you are having may just be asking that you readjust your actions.  Infuse your battle plan with a refreshed strength and joyous attitude. Re-emerge like the Butterfly, as she takes flight from the spent cocoon.  This Watercolor Painting, titled "Wings of the Warrior Woman" is Day Eight of my "30 Warrior Women in 30 Days" series.  You can see more of her in my Etsy here Wings of the Warrior Woman Painting #togetherwerise #stateofwomen #lovearmy #womensmarch #artforchange

Sadness into Action - Day Seven of 30 Warrior Women in 30 Days

She wasn't born a Warrior, but she is a Warrior today. It isn't easy for her. It isn't convenient a lot of the time. As a matter of fact, there are many days when she thinks her life would be easier if she wasn't. She is not even sure how much of a choice it was for her, for it seemed to be a "must". Her heart was filled with so much sadness, seeing the injustices that were happening in the world, that soon that sadness felt as if it would drown her if she didn't do something. She decided that she needed to transform that strong sad energy, into an energy that could be diligent and fierce - focused on changing those things that were pulling at her heart. She decided that her pain could be her passion. Not everyone can be a Warrior, and that's okay, we all have a different path.  But for some, there is no other choice other than to be a Warrior....it's in their blood...it's in their heart...it's in their soul. Warrior In Prayer - Day Six of 30 Warrior Women in 30 Days

"On your most difficult days, Warrior Woman, you are being called to pray harder. When the exhaustion and the stresses make you think that you just possibly can't go forward.... the prayer will keep you going. Do not forget that you are protected, you are watched over, and you are divinely guided.  Keep your prayer at the forefront. You are not alone," "Warrior in Prayer" is a new Watercolor Painting - Day Six of my "30 Warrior Women in 30 Days" series.  This painting is listed in my Etsy here Warrior in Prayer Watercolor Painting
