When the Fear gets Bigger, the Prayers get Stronger.  My brain recognizes the fears, but my Spirit will not allow them to control me.  I will be aware. I will observe the situation. And I will proceed, holding confidently to my prayers and beliefs, with my highest good in mind.  I will proceed, keeping my eyes on the Big Picture and with grace and truth in my arsenal.  I will proceed with a dedicated heart, toward realizing my dreams and purpose. "Luna's Moonlit Garden" brings a closer look into the world of the Luna Moth, who long has intrigued us with her mystical and rare appearances. The Luna Moth is a wonderful teacher, reminding us that Life is short, we never know how long we will be in this beautiful world, and to cherish every moment for the joy of Living. No matter how difficult it may be at times, it is all a part of our spiritual journey, making us a better person, a more compassionate human, a more enlightened soul. In this pop surrealism painting, I wanted to take a closer look at Luna - her correlation with the Feminine - and so created Luna as part woman and part Luna Moth. She floats above her garden of moon flowers, symbolic for her balance of light and dark, her mystical being, and resonating with her intuition. Her arms are outstretched in an offering of Embrace, perfectly molding into the shape of the Luna Moth's wings. Her auburn hair color is symbolic of Earth, in order to offer...

Women are being called, called to Rise and Step back in, in order to bring Healing to the world. For far too long women have been oppressed and treated “less than”, unequally and unfairly, placed inside a box of restrictions with a “dumbing down” of their capabilities. While the world has been controlled by greed and power, women have been inundated with the distraction that we are weak and broken emotional creatures. We have been filled on a daily basis, being taught that we are not good enough, and that we need to look a certain way in order to be acceptable “prizes”. Along the way many of us have forgotten who we are as strong empowered beings capable of creating life and healing our surroundings.  Our world is going through a period of intense vulnerability. Since the crumbling of the economy a few years ago, that shook people to their very core, humanity has been operating in fear mode. When you think that there is no where left to go, no sure footing to take your next step, this would be the time to reach deep into your soul and come face to face with your Fears. Fear creates an illusion; it’s a trickster of sorts. It can create a thick fog that hides solutions, whispers mantras of impossibility in your ear, and blocks you from manifesting your wants and needs. Your fears can keep you stuck in situations, feeding you one hundred and one excuses not to move forward. This is the time to take the power away from Fear and direct the power to the love in your Heart…the love for You.  Now is when you love yourself more than the fears that are holding you back. Now is when you love yourself enough to make a new set of rules that protect and nurture your spirit by putting yourself first.  Now is when you love yourself so deeply that you won’t accept anything but the very best for your soul.
